Ideas, plans, duties.

IDEAS

• magnetic sculpture [elephant and the birds] I've just started 
• 365 days project - made yesterday samples
• flower pot macrame
• window makrame [I've bought plenty of cotton rope for makramas. I want to combine them with some plymer details...]
• paper strap christmas tree decor 
• paper cut snowflakes [already done, hanging on the window] 
• new angel jumping jack [they are already in progress - one of them belowe]

PLANS

•   365 DAYS PROJECT - I'm starting on 22nd of December 2015. And in fact it will be 366 days project because 2016 has that one extra day in February. So... I'm planing to create four different sculptures of a tree, every one of them representing a season. Every day I'm going to make a single leaf/flower/branch. The span of a calendar season is time for preparing a sculpture. So in winter I have to make about 90 leaves and a trunk with branches. In spring there are going to be flowers insead of leaves. Etc.  I hope the project gives me an exit door in case of boredom [ I'm afraid I wouldn't bear making the same obejct for the whole year.] And the daily task is really simple and not so time-consuming - that makes chances for completion bigger. A leaf a day. The rest of the tree can be made in any spare time I have. I can call my project a tree a season. ;] 
• The aim of my project is to create someting beautiful, do it slowly, try to reflect all richnes of the weather and season and finally develope as an artist, learn new techniques and have fun. 

 DUTIES

• there are some of them, life can't go on without fulfilling them. And it's Christmas...

Mixed things.

My time is mixed. Things go out of control.
I'm making brainstorming sketches in my spare time. Time for sculpting has become scarce. My place is occupated by chicks and a hen. It's sort of hause for insane... ;]

Here is The Ant Queen - in her blue glory. Recently I've focus on insects - caterpillars, flies and wasps. I've done three caterpilars, two flies and a wasp and ant queen so far.

I have waited for them one month. Uh, so long.
They are just I imagined, or may be a bit bigger.
One was broken. ;[

Photosession day - Look at the beginings...

Yes, suddenly the clouds revealed the sun, and the light was perfect for taking photos.
I took some photos of my puppets made of air drying clay. I made the puppets almost a year ago. I fell in love with making them almost instantly. I fell in love with a air drying clay - so silky and soft in touch. I painted the figures in cooper and black acrylic and the pink parts left untouched.

Winter Unicorn diorama

Finally I can present Winter Unicorn diorama. The Unicorn moves his legs when you pull the line. Every snowflake is different. Everything is handmade of polymer clay. I will soon list it in my Etsy store.

This weekend I had very little time. I just drew. These are the sketches of polymer clay picture. Birds will be movable.

I started a quick sketch late in the evening, finished the horse the next day. Now its baked.

I said ' it wouldn't be sunny that week' and it is sunny today. So i take advantage and quickly made a photosession for sisters - the ones that I introduced earlier - and for crazy green-orangep-nightglow couple.

QUEEN DIORAMA

I've ordered frames for two dioramas. They are ready. And the dioramas need just a few details to complete. To do this I need to bake, to bake I need to make more puppets to bake effeciently.

The next thing is the weather. I need sunny day for photshooting. It won't be sunny this week.

I feel sort of stuck in the process. Diorama is something really time consuming. But I can't live without them. They are like painting and dreams at the same time. I've already made plenty of sketches...

But I hope the next week will be more time.

Finally I have a new light.
