Set of two white-blue-copper clocks...

This is the small wall clock. It is meant to be anticlock. The big one will move clockwise.
All beautifully arranged on a piece of wall that I painted by myself.

Studio time - Polymer Clay Wall Clock - Bee

I'm so tired of this week! I had lots of things to do, and very little time to create. I didn't finish the clock this week. I hope for the next one.

In the meantime I sketch and experiment with my new top secret project. I rarely have time for it, but it fascinates me so much that I do everything to jump into that idea and explore a bit. I think I will make a few project and if it works I will release the photos and info.

This is my Bee Clock progress:

Hey! This week labour!

Here I show you almost a tutorial of polymer clay clock. At least it is step by step photo story. It si unfinished and not described in detail, but I will finish - hopefully this week and I would think about making tutorial and revealing all secrets behind my clock making! Isn't that exciting!?

So I put pictures in one place:

It is three days of work, every day several hours. I start with a "naked" cardboard. Now it is all coated in polymer clay and pre-baked two times. But still a lot to do. :)

Edit:  New steps of progress:

Monochromatic

Today new wall clock was baked. This time I limited the number of colors. Actually I've used just blue and white and a bit of brown dots. And this is the result, quite calming. Also, for the first time I managed to weight the piece between pre-baking and I got the final weight of fresh polymer clay which is 27grams. Half the package. Quite a little. Photos:

New clock - another aproach to shapes colors and symetry

This photo session is really unfinished, it was interrupted by a low battery in my camera. And thousend of projects running in the background. The clock is quite small. One of the smallest. It is made of polymer clay FIMO. It's precise, funny, light.
